Stressed about the fact that you are stressed?

We tend to take the time to get to know someone new in depth and learn everything we can about them. Why haven't we done the same for ourselves. It's the longest relationship we have and that one is more important especially understanding our mental health. 

As you go in for a doctors appointment they will ask about how your stress levels have been and you tend to cover it up or say something that doesn't relate with the truth or you are highly stressed and say as much as possible to let it all out. (I've definitely cried in the doctors room). It's definitely fine to let your stress out because its unhealthy to keep it in. However, a lot of us avoid the feeling and try and suppress it. Thats when it come back to bite you on the butt. 

As a female you need to get yourself familiar with the word stress. 

There is so many areas of a female that we panic, worry and become concerned about. Especially with our self confidence, period cycles and sex.

Across all areas we definitely worry about every little detail on the daily and we tend to out lash out on people or food. 

Now when we communicate with people this can go badly or real bad super quick. We tend to communicate words that have been piling up that we don't even know why they are come up. Then we react even more because we realise that we did something bad but don't want to take accountability for our behaviour so we up level and reach for the sky until the rockets have defused. Trust me I have learnt this by looking back on my past behaviours and there was a lot of unnecessary anger being projected onto people just because I was stressed about something that I was unaware of or had no idea what to do, especially around female areas. 

In order for us to reduce our stress we need to reflect and have those awkward conversations to take the accountability. It will serve us better on managing our stress levels.

Period cycles and the emotional rollercoaster. It's all apart of our mechanism. If you track and understand your cycle you will be able to manage your stress levels. Its completely fine to eat the foods you want to, however there are some that can make you feel better and less down in the dumps. It comes down to which part of your cycle you are at and whats happening with your hormones. 

If you have a stressful presentation, exam, performance and want to minimise that. Then remind yourself that eating healthier food options will make you focus better and obtain high energy. There are certain foods that are good to eat when stressed. However, if you slip up and eat something else don't add the pressure of lowering your self esteem. It's a choice. If you want that fulfilment then go for it. If it didn't make you feel better, then make the choice to not do it again. You have control on what you eat and don't.
